Social Work with Military Service Members, Veterans, and their Families, New York City, Nov. 15th – 16th, 2016

Editor’s Note: Thank you to one of our readers,  Marco A. Bongioanni, MSE,  U.S. Army Veteran & Readjustment Counseling Therapist at the Bronx Vet Center, Bronx, NY for this information!

This conference will attract social workers and human services professionals who provide services to veterans, military service personnel, and their larger support networks (e.g., spouses, children, and extended family).

It will increase the knowledge base on the intersection of specific veteran and military service issues (e.g., substance use, post-traumatic stress disorder, homelessness, families, housing, employment, education, advocacy, wellness, alternate paths to care, and family violence).
