For more than 32 years, Dr. Kathy Platoni has served our nation as an expert in PTSD and war trauma. She is a practicing clinical psychologist whose passion for the treatment of acute and chronic pain is rooted deeply in her own experience of both.

USA Colonel (ret.) Kathy Platoni will key-note this conference together with criminal defense attorney Borckton Hunter.

Brockton Hunter is the lead editor and co-author of The Attorney’s Guide to Defending Veterans in Criminal Court. He is also the co-founder and President of the Veterans Defense Project – a non-profit dedicated to advocating and educating for veterans in the justice system.

There will also be panel discussions by judges and attorneys from Ohio treatment courts.

The conference will be hosted by Attorney General Mike DeWine and Supreme Court of Ohio Justice Evelyn Lundberg Stratton (Retired).
