Webinar: Defending Veterans in Criminal Court, May 26th

Webinar: Defending Veterans in Criminal Court (Open to all nationwide) May 26th http://bit.ly/1craQKg

“Veterans in crisis represent a unique type of criminal defendant. Often their behavior is the result of Post Traumatic Stress or Traumatic Brain Injury, which may look the same but require vastly different treatment methods. There may be defenses unique to this case because of their war experience. Some states, like Ohio, now require the judge to consider their military background in sentencing, as does the U.S. Supreme Court. Getting those military records from the Department of Defense of the Veterans Administration can be a challenge. This webinar address all those issues and more.”

Speakers

Justice Evelyn Lundberg Stratton, Retired
Dr. Chrisanne Gordon, MD; Resurrecting Lives Foundation
Frederick W. G. Stratmann; Ohio Department of Veterans Services
